These are images of the material shown on our press release page. The material composing the small black disk is shown at successively higher magnifications. (see scale bars) Note the semi-aligned nature of our material shown at highest magnification. As with other carbon nanotube adhesives, our material has hairlike projections (bottom left) that adhere to surfaces in this case- soft wet rubber, and to human oral and vaginal mucosa. In the top left corner of that photo, 2 fused bundes of nanotubes oriented at an angle 90 degrees to each other can be observed. Many other fused bundles that taper down to points can be seen too.
